Very comfortable stay!

Jenn and Russ are most hospitable. They are there for your every need, yet not intruding. The place is so meticulously decorated and serviced. You get a five star hotel service yet it’s personal. The breakfast is very nice, too. Will definitely recommend. Downstairs room is smaller but you won’t need to move your luggage upstairs if they are heavy.

What a fantastic end to our New Zealand trip we are so pleased to have chosen The Establisment. The house is beautiful as well as the suites. Was so lovely to have so many areas to relax and Carol and Jim made it for us. They are the loveliest kindest people who went over and above to look after us. Would recommend this place in a heart beat and hope to return. The house is situated 10 min drive from the City which is perfect to get some peace and quiet. You also get to meet other people in the house and get to know other travellers over the family breakfast table. Loved The Establishment can’t thank Jim and Carol enough

Wie beim letzten Mal wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Am Abend gab es eine tolle Käseplatte und Wein auf Kosten des Hauses. Beim Frühstück wurde auf meinen Wunsch nach einem anderen Brot eingegangen. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr modern, gemütlich und toll ausgestattet. Wir wurden gratis zum Flughafen gebracht.

Sehr modernes und exklusives B&B, das Frühstück war ok aber nicht wie bei der Buchung extra als besondere angepriesen Gurmet Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner als der Durchschnitt.

ご夫婦でやっている感じがホームステイのような感じ。 1日3組限定。プライベートな空間は少ない。朝食も作っていただける。会話を楽しみたい方にはオススメ。

Stay in a hotel, yet feel like you're at home

A nice family-run boutique hotel, very well kept and professionally run by its owners. The hotel is within walking distance to one of the biggest shopping malls, yet in a quiet location away from traffic noise. The indoor and outdoor common areas are clean and well kept with a very good ambience and positive vibe.

Truly excellent

I can only say good things about the Establishment. The building is new, immaculate, and very tastefully decorated. The grounds are lovely. Attention to detail and customer service was evident everywhere: making restaurant bookings, arranging taxis, serving drinks and snacks at happy hour, providing late evening drinks, meeting my wife's gluten free needs, and so on. The staff even drove us in their Jaguar to the next pace we were visiting. If we visit Christchurch again, we will definitely stay at the Establishment.

Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Establishment very much. Rus and Jen are wonderful proprietors and we couldn't have been more comfortable. The environment is serene and relaxing. I highly recommend it!

great place

I was welcomed into the establishment, offered a drink, there are outdoor places to sit. They could not be more helpful. They made dinner selections -- great food. Great breakfast included, they even brought me to the airport-- no charge.

Better than any Hotel we've ever stayed in!

The Establishment is a private home with three luxury, fully ensuited bedrooms, each with its's own area to make tea & coffee.It is run as a Boutique Hotel, and is set up totally with guests in mind. Jen & Russell (and Millie their lovely spoodle dog) are the owners, and are 100% there for their guests. We paid more than we ever have on an Hotel, but the experience and total luxury was worth every cent. The nibbles at the end of the day, and the full breakfast offered was delicious. The house is absolutely beautiful where no expense has been spared, and Jen & Russell make everyone feel like they are the most important people in the world. I can't express how pleased we are to have found them and how happy we booked!!

Sehr gepflegtes Haus, extrem sauber, Bett topp!! Sehr bequem !! (ist in NZ ja leider ein Schwachpunkt , ist zumindest unsere Erfahrung) Sehr freundlicher Empfang , man merkt das die Gastgeber Profis sind. Frühstück wie zu Hause . Waren rundherum zufrieden und werden sicherlich im nächsten Jahr wieder kommen.

Perfect - all round.

Amazingly accommodating hosts (they "relieve " apparently), room faultless, location not in CBD but that was a positive. Limitless praise!!!
