The golf course was beautiful, the starter was excellent, and the rooms and building were fabulous. No complaints at all about the facilities — they are truly first class.
Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the poor attitude of the staff in the restaurant, and in particular, the receptionist (Narcissa). At checkout, she belittled us when we asked for a company receipt and even accused us of lying about owning a Canadian company. Our company is fully registered and provides support to cancer patients worldwide. Instead of handling the request professionally, she delayed for over 30 minutes to produce a simple hotel receipt, despite having our passports on file since check-in. Her behavior was hostile, unprofessional, and completely out of place in an establishment of this caliber.
As a Romanian, I was ashamed by the impression this created for my family and horrified that guests could be treated this way. We had been planning to return with friends to enjoy the golf, but after this experience, we are reconsidering. Management should urgently address this issue if they want to maintain the reputation of what is otherwise a wonderful property
