The room was clean and appeared recently updatedโbut around 2am, we discovered bed bugs. Lots of bed bugs crawling about. My husband bagged a few and took them to the front desk. We were moved to another room, but the rest of the night was anything but restful. We spent the next morning sanitizing everything, which is the last thing any stock show family wants to deal with on show day.
The front desk staff was friendly, but housekeeping admitted they already knew about the bed bugs. When I asked for a refund, they refused, citing โpolicy.โ Worst of all, I saw the original room being turned over for the next guest. Be warned: the rooms may look okay, but they have bed bugsโand the staff knows it.
