“★★★★★ Had a really pleasant stay at the White Horse Inn. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s in a great location right in the heart of Clun, making it easy to explore the village and enjoy the surrounding countryside. Everything was straightforward and well looked after, and the whole place had a friendly, welcoming feel. A great place to stay – would happily return.”

“We had a lovely relaxing weekend break. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Chris and Tracey were very warm and welcoming. The cake was a nice surprise. We took our dog, and he really enjoyed himself. The rooms are all large so plenty of room for him to lie down, and we had the use of a field to walk him in. ”

However, 2 things don't do in its favor: 1) The cottage is surrounded by amazing view but the cottage itself has no view ( the windows open to the street and house opposite). “Bed super comfy, place super cosy. Tom (host) is a one of a kind man. So welcoming, so kind and super generous. Offered out his own apples in the Morning (can’t promise the same for you haha). I can’t recommend staying here more.”

“We stayed in the pig room. Large bed, spacious, table with two chairs and a harmchair. The shower in the bathroom is good and the ventilation system efficient. The room is supplied with bed sheets, towels and hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which is quite generous. Parking is also convenient, even when the pub is quite full I managed to find free parking spaces. In Expedia it wasn't 100% clear if bed sheets and hairdryer were supplied. In our experience,...

“Another incredible stay! The staff are always so welcoming and kind, George is just fantastic and so attentive and friendly. The food as usual is delicious, beautiful local produce. The rooms as usual are so clean and super comfy beds. The spa facilities are fantastic. Five stars again from us!! ”

“Easy parking near to the hotel”

“The shower did not drain, which resulted in the bathroom becoming flooded with water. The light in the seating area would not work. The pillows were very thin and so was the mattress. Overall a poor experience. ”

“Just spent the evening with Edward and his family at this historic property. We had a fabulous experience throughout our stay. The room was large, clean with fabulous views. The bathroom was sumptuous with a wonderful curved bath and shower. Edward our host could not do enough for us. This is his family home, and we enjoyed a tour of the house and to hear about its history. My partner and I would highly recommend you stay. ”

“The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.”
