“We were there for one night only and wish we were there longer. It was truly an exceptional experience! The service, the food, the room, the setting etc. of the hotel was just absolutely impeccable. We keep thinking when we can go back and stay at least two nights.

Sadly due to the age of the building we could here guests in other rooms, due to the squeaking floor boards in our room and other guests room, there was a point during the night we felt like guests where in our room when walking around upstairs.

“The property was clean, smelled lovely, nicely decorated. The room was spacious, bathroom was nice and big. Good shower. Coffee and tea facilities with easy instructions. If you don't like country or narrow roads this isn't the place for you but I live in the country so didn't bother me except for the really narrow badly kept roads. They only supply 1 key & you have to use it to even lock yourself in so if others in your party leave you're left with being locked in & not being able to get out or...
“Unfortunately our stay had to be cut short by 2 days as my back could not tolerate the only bed in the property which is lumpy and hard. Think of a bag of potatoes and you wouldn’t be far off.
