“Angie and Charly could not have been more welcoming, The position was spectacular overlooking the valley set in a lovely garden, The rooms very tastefully decorated with large proportions. If in the area again we would definitely stay again.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. Double bed very comfy, single bed far too soft for an adult, fine for a small child. Rooms would benefit from a deep clean. The building is looking tired (visible bubbling on the walls, discoloured plug holes, tatty bed bases) and needs refreshing. For a spa day I would be disappointed, for a base to explore the area it was fine. The pool was a key factor in choosing this hotel.”

“Beautiful stay! Very comfy family room with a king bed and a single, fan provided as it was HOT! Very small bathroom but very clean with lots of towels. Gorgeous terrace for drinks and beautiful breakfast the next morning. The only suggestion would be the terrace is maybe reserved for residents as we wanted to go in for another drink and it was full which was a shame. But cant blame them, it was gorgeous there! Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. ”
