"I prepaid for my stay through Hotels.com, but the hotel charged me again for the room upon check-in. As a result, I have effectively paid for the room twice.
I was also charged a deposit and a resort fee, which have still not been refunded. When I contacted the staff, they repeatedly told me that the charges would be refunded, but I have not received my money back.
This situation has been very frustrating. Guests should not have to spend time chasing refunds for charges that should never have occurred in the first place."
