This property is very out dated. It is need of upgrades. But if you a looking for a cheap stay and convenience then perhaps this can work. Please note that the breakfast is not worth mentioning. There is plenty to do and see in 30 minutes (drive) or less. There were almost too many restaurant choices and we were extremely happy with the places we chose. I was surprised, however, that there wasn't more to see in actual Yorktown.

The staff at our hotel were all great, friendly and easy to talk to even if we were just passing in the elevator or halls they said hello and asked how we were doing. Will definitely stay here again.
The Water Street Grill & Riverside restaurant were excellent. The Red Roofs coffee, however, was horrible.
The Revolutionary War Museum is wonderful!
