Love the ambience

I loved this hotel and am looking forward to going back. Very helpful staff, great room. The outdoor courtyard, sitting rooms and breakfast area, along with my room had great art work and an interesting decor.

Chic design hotel

This stylish hotel was fabulous. Peaceful, minimalist design, friendly personnel. The beds were extremely comfortable. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Very modern and beautiful

Very nice apartment, very friendly staff and clean, modern and comfortable rooms. A perfect stay in Colombo, only 5km from city center. I would really recommend it!

Service is awful

Warning: you may not get what you have paid for. We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights; the first and the last night of our 2 week trip. The first stay was alright – the rooms are fine. Service was ok – there is no reception and only the manager speaks English so we had to wait for a while to check in and out. The problems started when we arrived for our second stay, the last night of our trip. Even though we have booked and paid for our “deluxe suit” 2 months earlier it was now occupied by someone else. (Someone had booked the whole hotel for a couple of nights and it was off course a better deal for the manager to rent out all rooms for several nights to these guests then one night to us). The manager had booked us in at another hotel about 10 minutes’ drive away. The problem was that this hotel had significantly lower standard. The manager’s answer to this was that it was hard to find a new hotel on short notice. She didn’t offer us any form of compensation. When we asked for some part of our payment back she said she had spent a lot of money on this room (a quick check on Hotels.com let us now that this room cost about 2/3 of the one that we had paid for). Since we had paid for a “deluxe suit” and now got something very different we argued that we should get a part of our money back. After a long discussion we got about 20 percent of our payment back. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Schönes Hotel in der Stadt

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse mitten in der Stadt, zum Bahnhof mit dem Bus ca. 20-30 Minuten. In der Nähe sind mehrere Restaurants , z.B. Chinesisch, Pizza. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet, unseren Kindern hat am Besten die Bettbeleuchtung gefallen.
