“Everything was perfect. The house was so warm and cozy. The rooms were unique, comfortable and quiet. The claw foot soaking tub was amazing, in its own little alcove.The hosts were very charming and interesting to chat with. The breakfasts were so delicious! The best scone I’ve ever eaten! I would go back over and over. Highly recommend it. And don’t forget to take home some of their delicious hot chocolate drink mix! ”

“We had such a great stay. Our first B&B experience. My husband is recently from Cuba so any adventure into the mountains is memorable. I have been to Buena Vista and Mt Princeton hotsprings many times so I wanted his first experience to me wonderful. Our room was for honeymooners 😁😘 so that was fun. The fire place, deep jacuzzi tub, delicious breakfast, seasonal decorations that changed from Thanksgiving to Christmas while we were there, the many deer grazing in the yard... it was magical ...

“Black Bear Manor is the best place I have ever stayed. The room (Room 6) is their best room, and has a jacuzzi and steam shower, which I utilized multiple times. Also, home cooked meals every morning, and they will actually sit down with you and talk to you (if you want, of course) When you come to Ouray, you have two great options for Lodging: 1) Black Bear Manor 2) Black Bear Manor in a fancy accent.”

“Brenda, the proprietor, is lovely. Our room was spacious and clean. The deck overlooking the backyard is great. And breakfast was a tasty treat. We were in town for a quick weekend getaway and Castle Creek was just a perfect location. Will definitely come back!”

“I loved the charm and nostalgia! It was very conveniently located and I loved walking everywhere and leaving my car parked. I wasn't excited about street parking and so I was delighted that the parking behind the building was very convenient! The room was a little snug but we loved our stay and the snacks provided by the host. We definitely would stay again! ”
