"The property looks run down. The heat/AC unit had dust and debris in the vents. 2 or 3 of towels were stained and looked dirty. However, the manager/staff were pleasant and attentive whenever we needed anything--and they cleaned up the dirty vent to brought us fresh/clean towels right away. CA prices are expensive compared to other states--so you get what you pay for, I guess."

I asked to change rooms if possible but staff member said no because all pet friendly rooms were on the ground floor. The 2nd floor also has street side because the hotel sits on different levels. She did not even discuss other rooms options with me. We pay an additional $50 for our pet & we don’t get other options. This isn’t right."

"This was our second time staying at the Aura and I like it. The rooms are nice I like that you can open up the windows and the rooms are pretty roomy. On our first stay the beds were sooo comfy, I slept so good. But the counter in the bathroom was unusualey high. This last visit we had a different room, the bed was comfy but not like the first time. Overall, this place is a good place to stay. I suggest if you stay at the Aura, go and eat at the Great Wall it's on the corner of Fremont and Abrego behind Shell. The food there was delicious!!! The best Chinese food I've had the chicken wings were the best crispy n delicious and the fried tempura shrimp was also. You get a lot of food too and Jimmy I think he was the owner he was awesome."
