"WOW! This was an exceptional property. The rooms were huge and classy, and genuinely it felt like staying at an upscale resort. The restaurant was incredible and right on property so it was very convenient. The fireplace in our room was a nice touch, and it was so helpful to have electric car chargers too. We loved our stay!"

"Clean room. No pool, but very close everything downtown. A short drive or inexpensive uber driver. Beds were comfy and shower had good water pressure. Only proteas check-in. They had someone at the desk. But wanted you to use the live chat kiosk. And was unable to hear the person talking to me. So I had the desk clerk and the video receptionist both talking to me and telling me what to do. I just say pick one."

"This hotel charges $20 per day for parking and $35 per day resort fee. This adds a lot to your bill especially when you are not using the amenities included in the resort fee. A group of 4 of us went to the bar which doesn't open to 3 pm. We waited until it opened and the staff was not friendly nor provided much service. Exterior of the hotel looks dated."

"The property looks run down. The heat/AC unit had dust and debris in the vents. 2 or 3 of towels were stained and looked dirty. However, the manager/staff were pleasant and attentive whenever we needed anything--and they cleaned up the dirty vent to brought us fresh/clean towels right away. CA prices are expensive compared to other states--so you get what you pay for, I guess."

"This was our second time staying at the Aura and I like it. The rooms are nice I like that you can open up the windows and the rooms are pretty roomy. On our first stay the beds were sooo comfy, I slept so good. But the counter in the bathroom was unusualey high. This last visit we had a different room, the bed was comfy but not like the first time. Overall, this place is a good place to stay. I suggest if you stay at the Aura, go and eat at the Great Wall it's on the corner of Fremont and Abrego behind Shell. The food there was delicious!!! The best Chinese food I've had the chicken wings were the best crispy n delicious and the fried tempura shrimp was also. You get a lot of food too and Jimmy I think he was the owner he was awesome."
