โWe stayed at the Attican Motel while spending the day at Darien Lake and seeing a concert that night. It is only a 15 minute drive away. The motel sits on a hill above the main road, so it was pretty quiet. The photos donโt really do it justice and it looks even nicer in person. Itโs a quaint family-run establishment and care has been taken to keeps things up to date for the most part. We were very comfortable here. Two things youโll want to be prepared for though:
1) A $50 deposit is required...
โI arrived at 6 p.m. and was told to wait as the room was not ready. The staff had no manners. When I asked why, they told me there was a problem with the drying of the bedsheets. I waited for half an hour, but they kept saying sorry without expression. When I went up to the room, the bedsheets were wrinkled and unpleasant, and the bathtub was clogged and the water did not flush. This is the worst hotel you should not visit.โ
โWe were warmly greeted and checked in at the front desk by Rhianna, who was very thorough giving us information of what to expect during our stay. The hotel was elegantly beautiful! We had a delightful dinner at Russellโs, and the breakfast buffet was great as well!
I will say, I think the Keurig in my room might need replacing, as the coffee wasnโt as hot as we are accustomed to. Also the toilet was a bit weak in flushing, a couple times it didnโt flush at all. ???? We stayed in room 113....
