“very good food in the restaurant where displays attactive interior. thermostat seems working unexpectedly. room temperature fluctuates. sanity should be improved (e.g. dusty flower vase)”

“Fantastic stay in a beautiful village right on the edge of the Cotswold. The entire place was really lovely, including the staff - I actually booked for the wrong date but they quickly fixed everything and was able to adjust. Rooms was excellent, very comfortable and beautifully decorated, I also had dinner in the garden and the food was delicious. Added bonus that the village is where some of Downton Abbey scenes were filmed so that was fun!”

“Walls thin, noisy on the landing also road noise, chemical bleach smell in room from landing ( not great ) caused eyes to be sore? No bar food offering just Indian restaurant. No staff when I arrived had to hang around! Rooms clean and spacious”

“Sauberes großes Zimmer im kleinen Häuschen Visavis dem Gasthof. Schönes Badezimmer. Abendessen sehr gut. Fangfrische Forelle aus dem Dorf! Frühstück englisch, Kaffee unbrauchbar. Aber Nespresso Kapselmaschine im Zimmer. Die Lage! Sind in der Früh um 8 zur Arlington zum Fotografieren (nicht mal 5 Mi uten zu Fuß) und hatten die für uns alleine!”

“I stayed 2 nights at The Bell Inn, and found it to be quiet and comfortable. Tucked away from the crowds, but within easy reach of all the charming Cotswold villages. The food was also tasty. They do an included continental breakfast of yogurt, granola, fruits, croissants, and jam. But ordering dinner there is worthwhile. Nice place for a pint and a pizza.”

“The staff were fantastic both at the hotel and the diner. The room was great apart from technical issues with our television which staff tried to fix. But it kept breaking again , in the end we gave up as out of the 3 day stay here it worked for about 2 hrs on and off. We gave up and used a phone to watch the world cup! “The menu was limited, expensive and some dishes were poor. The room “Brewery” was small, limited storage, no fridge, tired decor and UNBEARABLY HOT. However must commend the staff for working through the heatwave. Particular thanks goes to Courtney who was extremely helpful and friendly. In summary hotel should investigate the installation of air conditioning or the use of portable air conditioning units for the summer months. “The place itself was immaculate. However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities.”

The amenities in the room were also good for our needs and really nice having some outdoor space.
