“Second stay here, still splendid.”

“Location is lovely and quiet. Front desk was only staffed for check-in. Found underwear and socks from a previous guest in a drawer. Bathroom exhaust fan was broken. Tea cups and spoons had clearly only been rinsed, not washed, after previous guest. I wrote all of this in a note for management, but I don't know if they got it. I left it on the unstaffed front desk with my room key at 7 AM when I left, without breakfast.”

“The hotel staff were very helpful. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The room was large and had nice bathroom. One single bed was very comfortable, the other sagged a bit. Some evidence of previous leaks on the ceiling. Tv in the room worked well.”

“The hotel’s location is excellent, right next to Loch Long, which makes for a great setting whether you’re there for work or leisure. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room and bathroom were both very clean, which I really appreciated after long days. The hotel itself is a bit dated, and could benefit from some modernisation, but everything was functional and comfortable. Despite the older feel, I’d happily stay again thanks to the location, cleanliness, and solid service.”

“Great place to stay. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt, which was a unique experience, like glamping. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories.”

“A busy friendly pub hotel that made us feel very welcome. Very clean, very large comfy bed. A quiet large warm room and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast delicious. Loved the fact a table at dinner was reserved even without asking and then you could choose not to take it. We did and the menu was varied in a dining room that took good COVID precautions. We enjoyed our dinner. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend.”
