"Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time."

"Enjoyed our stay at the manor hotel - staff were very nice and welcoming, room was great with a Mountain View- breakfast was superb- great facilities - gym , small swimming pool , hot tub , steam and sauna room - would stay here again ."

"This is the second time that I have stayed at the Dragon Inn. Generally it has been good. The only dissapointing thing for me is that breakfast does not start until 8am, which for a work trip is getting a little too late. Also, the cooked breakfast is now an optional extra, whereas in 2024 it was included. The entrance to the car park is dreadful."

"Fabulous stay in a traditional hotel with lovely atmosphere and fabulous food. We stayed in a cosy double at the front of the hotel which was perfectly adequate for a 1 night stay. Room was immaculately clean and well presented, nice furnishings with complimentary tea,coffe ,hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Bathroom was very small but again spotlessly clean and adequate. Food was exceptional - we had evening meal and breakfast - good quality, testy and reasonably priced. Staff were wonderful - helpful, polite and professional. Can't wait to go back."
