“Our recent stay at Punta Alameda could not have been more wonderful. Our family of 5 adults visited Mexico City from Los Angeles for a week of Día de Muertos celebrations and the Mexico Grand Prix and the hotel was in a perfect location - walkable to almost everything (the Zocalo, Plaza de la Reforma, Bellas Artes, Roma Norte & Condesa, Templo Mayor etc etc) but also quiet, tucked away in a very safe feeling mixed commercial & residential area. Tons of great restaurants all around (we especially...

“Efficient location, good food, kind staffs.
There are four elevators that are inefficiently managed. It takes a while to get to the lobby or gym etc. Sometimes towels are missing after cleaning a room.
No hot water at 3AM
If took me 30 minutes to check-in because a incompetent lobby staff didn’t know how to check-in one person booking for two rooms.”

“Stayed for one night. Was fine. Was a bit noisy as expected for this part of town at night. Was able to sleep though it but the girlfriend couldn't making sleeping difficult. Light sleepers can avoid on weekends (or Tuesdays! Luche Libre is around the corner). Outside that, fine and basic. Breakfast was available but very bare bones.”

“La habitación era tal cual fue plasmada en las fotografías, muy limpia y espaciosa. La atención en línea para ingresar o solicitar apoyo fue eficaz, amable y oportuna. La ubicación es perfecta para explorar lugares cerca de la Alameda y el Centro Histórico, y la zona es bastante segura.
El único problema fue que el fregadero de la cocina desprendía un olor desagradable a desagüe (probablemente falta cambiar la trampilla interna), no a todas horas, pero si suficiente para ser molesto. No...

“There are no English-speaking staff at the front desk. The most horrifying experience was that after four or five minutes of showering, the hot water would run out, leaving only cold water. The hotel staff responded that the water would heat up and come out again after ten minutes. This phenomenon repeated itself throughout the night and morning. I had to wash my hair for four minutes, rest for ten, and then shower again within five minutes. There was no air conditioning in the room to heat the...

“The place was cute. Good location. Looks a little sketchy but we walked around no issue. However the apartment was issues since the start. The lady in the front was so nice and very helpful. The door didn’t lock and we had to get the key. The toilet didn’t flush. The sink was so tiny that the water would spill. I wouldn’t stay there again.”

“Staff was great. The only issue I had was that the restaurant upstairs hosted several parties till 11 or 12, and just the laughter (oh well) would startle me awake. I wanted to write on my kinda balcony and the main woman brought me a very comfy and stylish chair. The vibe is good...”
