"The hotel is really nice… but I wish I knew a couple factors before I booked because I wouldn’t have booked it. The hotel is pretty nice and the staff is pretty responsive. My issue was that the amenities were all down. Like the sauna or the pool. Also the convenience store inside of the hotel is not 24/7. Our room heating system was broken. It would not turn off the heat so we had to ask the staff to completely turn it off in our room. Also, A/C wasn’t an option as they shut down that option since it’s still considered “winter”. But they were kind enough to bring us a fan… and btw, you can see inside of the bathroom from your room (thankfully there are blinds). For a brand like Shilla, I felt really let down."

"Internet was incredibly slow. Gym required a pass each time you used it, there was no water or cloth to wipe the equipment down. Everyone's sweat was just left on the equipment. When I asked for water at reception she told me to get it from the convenience store. It should be complementary. The shampoo smelt very toxic (like bleach), I believe it has been tampered with as when I took it to reception it was exchanged for shampoo that smelt like it should - it was very worrying and they didn't even apologise. Who knows what I washed my hair with, but it wasnt shampoo. I wouldn't stay here again. "

"Clean room & Beach view"

"The hotel is an older property, but it is clean. The rooms are big compared to other hotels in S. Korea. The only thing I didn’t like was the lighting inside of the hotel. The stairwells were dark because they don’t keep the lights on. I believe this is because they want to conserve energy? However, if you wanted to use the stairs you could just turn the lights on yourself. The ocean views from the room and the rooftop terrace were incredible! The staff were very friendly and helpful! There were a couple of seafood restaurants a block from the hotel. The area where the hotel is in is more industrial. But a short cab ride can take you anywhere in Busan. "

"The check in process was confusing because finding the actual entrance can be challenging. The staff were pleasant and efficient. I do think the property is a bit away from the typical tourist spots. We loved our room and the view was spectacular! "

"Room cleaniness was okay. But the toilet design (shower and WC shared the same door. Hence, only one can be closed at any point in time)is not suitable for travel mates who are not that familiar with each other."

"The staff was friendly. Check in was easy. The room was great. Clean and spacious. The view excellent. Room 2909 Will definitely have to come back. "
