"Absolutely exceptional. Yes, the location is amazing, yes it is from the '20s (as in 1920s) with a long history and lots of stories. But what impressed us the most were the people. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome. Because of them a stay at this hotel feels like a special event. Gorgeous location, exceptional people."

"It’s a historic building on the National registry. When planning your visit you need to be aware of this. The building is over 100 years old, and subject to the extreme desert conditions. We found it charming. The room and bathroom was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were great. The only downside was that we arrived after a flooding and in the common area was a musty smell, but not in the room. The employees were very friendly and very informative! We were unable to take a tour of the opera house; however, my relatives had and recommended it, which we plan to do on our next trip there. "
