The location of this hotel was perfect for our weekend visit! Our room was very clean and comfortable! We especially liked that the room was spacious and that the bathroom was well stocked with amenities and was also very large. No tight spaces! The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was hot and delicious! We will definitely stay with Holiday Inn Express again!

The room and hotel was immaculate and the pool & hot tub were fantastic. Breakfast was honestly the best we had had in the 5 days we had been traveling across the country. I would definitely stay there again. If you do, go to El Agave nearby for amazing Mexican food.

Even though we didn't spend a lot of time at Holiday Inn Express or enjoy was the amenities we like the location. We went to the NASCAR races in Newton Iowa. We like the size of the rooms.

I liked all the thoughtful amenities. The bathroom was stocked with Dove products, rather than a brand nobody has ever heard of. I also appreciate the ability to get coffee freshly brewed in the lobby 24 hours a day. The breakfast was better than many other hotels, and the fact that this hotel provided an option to take a bag with you (for those who have to get on the road quickly) was very hospitable. The small details, such as the bagels and muffins being individually wrapped for this very purpose is much appreciated.

I like that the property had both a pool and a hot tub although I didn't end up using the pool. I also like the gym even though it was small no one else was in there at any point that I used it and they had plenty of equipment for me to use. All of the staff were polite and friendly. The hotel smelled clean and free the mildew smell that a lot of hotels end up getting in them over time. The only exception to this was in the gym area but I suspect this is due to the gym being right next to the pool area. Breakfast had plenty of different options to choose from and they seem to switch some of the varieties every other day so if you say 2 nights there were different breakfast options both days. I would have like to see brochures on things to do though. Its a little outdated but they are nice to look at.

Arriving to the hotel at customer service the gentleman didn’t look to happy and that’s not giving great customer service and his way of asking what he could help us with not to friendly and the room was very clean except the bathtub was yellow on the floor and found a bottle of Gatorade and the next day was better with customer service and I would stay again but need to do better with the evening customer service and the yellow bathtub
