“Everything was really nice and clean, good WiFi, cute dogs, and Connie was very welcoming. We were only not used to the noise of the windmills nearby. And we really enjoyed the 20-30 minutes walk on the ranch owned trail while sunset.”

“We loved our stay at this property, we were shown around by Angie who seemed to be the animal whisperer. Wherever we went we saw all sorts of animals, monkeys, sloths, toucans, humming birds and so many more. It’s a beautiful paradise and we loved every minute we had here. “There are not many options in this areas. The room was pretty small but OK. The pool was OK but is small too for such a large lodge. Although we were told not to use the towels of the room because there are towels at the pool - there were no towels refilled. No problem for us but not the service promised. The restaurant prices looked OK - however, we decided to drive to the little village nearby. Breakfast in the hotel was definetely too expensive. It is OK to stay here but if we would come back...

“My family and I had a great stay here! JP and his associates welcomed us and made us feel at home. Complimentary breakfast was great and the other meals were delicious. The room itself was great given you are in the jungle, so there was no a/c and typical sugar ants but nothing unexpected. The pool and the views were gorgeous. The hot tub was down while we were there but it wasn’t missed. We took advantage of the Lake Tour and La Tia’s massage services which were both worth the money. We...

“The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant.”
