“출장으로 콘월을 가게 되서 작년에 묵었는데 너무 좋아서 올해도 또 펜벤톤으로 했습니다. 내년에도 도 올꺼예요. ”

“Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.”

“We have visited and stayed at the Jamaica Inn a number of times over the years but unfortunately this time we were left a bit disappointed. Not with the place or most of the staff themselves but with the entitlement of other visitors and patrons who bring their dogs into the establishment. Nearly all the dog owners were either having their dogs sitting where people need to walk, on long leads so they can roam or not on leads at all so they can roam anywhere. “Room was good and very clean had a issue with the window that wouldn't close correctly so had some road noise. Staff were bringing and couldn't do enough for you and made you feel very welcome food was brilliant and well cooked ”

“The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...
