“A pleasant surprise on our journey east. Found this treasure on a whim. Looking for a non-chain, hometown restaurant to get some dinner while on the road. Ended up making this spot our hotel for the night, too! Food was tasty. Service was friendly. Rooms were very charming. Prepare yourself for the loud engines racing by on a Sunday morning though. The hotel has no control over this, but the locals could learn to do better.”

“I have been staying here when I come to town since 2016 if not sooner . I love the rooms . I have grown boys now and grandchildren and they always love hanging out here .”

We rented along with cousins for a big family reunion, and this house provided a lovely place for small segments of the fam to break away and just relax and catch-up with each other. The front porch was a lovely perk. The peace and quiet was unmatched. We loved the Meemaw feel of the home and plan to rent again next year!”

“I was not very happy. The day before our trip, the hotel caught fire. I drove 750 mile to find out and then I had to scrabble to find a hotel to stay at. I realize that "things happen" but I believe that their corporate offices/ reservations had our phone numbers and they never made an effort to contact us. ”
