“This is an old rooming house that has seen better days, say around 1910. Perhaps it is better in summer when one can have windows open, but the apartment stank of mildew. The electricity is on a meter and one must put coins in to keep it going. In winter they grant a base of a few pounds of electricity per day, but this seems a very out of date system. Finally, the shower did not function. This rooming house was just about the only option for those wishing for a room in Port Erin at the time...

“The staff were so pleasant and helpful Breakfast had a good choice The room was clean overlooked the beach and had comfortable chairs. The only thing that let the room down was the mattress which was made of memory foam and was uncomfortable”

“The photographs on the web-site give a good idea of the rooms and the hotel. The staff could not be more helpful. It is lovely to have fried bread at breakfast. Bonzai is a great Pan-Asian restaurant. ”
