The grounds have a heartbeat, with hot spring water flowing through the town, bubbling forth rich life. The sounds of bear bells jingling in the street. The glow of modern Japan meets rural Japan in small notable ways."

"The staff was courteous and the hotel was in a nice location. The bath was very nice. The advertisement said we would have a buffet breakfast but instead they served us breakfast in the room next door to us - which was beautiful and very nice. However we had the choice of 7:30 am or an 8 am breakfast, so if you want to sleep later don't order breakfast. My husband needed to stay until 12 noon for an online meeting, but check-out time is 10 am. They charged us 3000 yen to stay an two extra...
