“The hotel was pretty nice but the guy at the front counter wasn’t great. Our first room smelled really musty so we asked for a different room. He came up to smell the room after giving us a different room. The new room’s bathroom door was locked and we asked him to unlock it. He never came to do it. We were able to get it open and then there was only one bath towel and no washcloths. I went and asked for them and he acted like it was an inconvenience. The breakfast was good and the lady...

“Good location for where I needed to be. No one was at the check in desk. I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to show up. Front desk people do not speak clear English so it was hard to understand them. Giant roach in the room! Room, bed and bedding was run down and it felt dirty knowing there were roaches in the room. Bed was worn and not very comfortable. Some female called me the day of check out and left a long, illegible message. I returned the call and it went to the front desk. ...

“Staying at a property comes down to what you are in town for (Mammoth Cave) and how much you want to spend to be there. For us it was just over $110 for 2 nights and it's much better than a $55 a night hotel should be. There are no frills, no breakfast, and not even an exhaust fan in the bathroom but... if you want to be in town and not spend much I don't think you will find a better deal.”

“While it was basically a nice experience there was little to no quick prepackaged breakfast options for people with a tree nut/peanut allergy. But they were very accommodating as its was my wife’s birthday and Father’s Day. Would go back as this was a “staycation” for us.”
