“Wonderful location and beautiful grounds that are well maintained. The private beach access was a definite plus. There was plenty parking and many shops and restaurants within walking distance or short car ride. We would stay there again.”

“Everything is old. Room is not very clean, but ok. Bed is not clean but the staff helps me change a new one during the midnight. The worst thing is the whole room has very heavy sweat odors. The friendly staff gave me an air fresh spray, otherwise I plan to cancel one night reservation. If the price below $150, it is fine, but I spent a price same as the price I live in the downtown of Chicago. The breakfast is so so. I don’t understand why their breakfast has such high reviews. “Three were reading lights on either side of the bed. Problem was that they were on a switch on the other side of the room, which turned on those two lights and two more lights just like them on the other side of the room. If you wanted to use it as a reading light at night, you really couldn’t because all four lights we’re on and the other person with you couldn’t turn off their light if you wanted to continue to read. The way it was wired and set up made absolutely no sense.”

“We loved the location and the quiet..great hot water And lots of towels and the back view and grounds. So sorry to say our stay was Not worth the price. The small breakfast pastries were frozen and Stale!.”

“Good location, but the place is not as clean and modernly updated as advertised. WiFi worked on and off over our stay, kept cutting in and out. Carpet was old and had an odor to it, photos online were pretty deceiving to reality when we arrived. We made it work though.”

“Beautiful views of water and woods. Nice pools on both sides of our condo. Upstairs shower did not work but we made do with downstairs shower. Small master bedroom, bed vs. door = difficult to close. All in all, still very nice. Quaint and peaceful. Not property's fault but we witnessed 2 drunk guys walk back from Ember, get into their car in the lot by our building and back into a parked car and speed off!!!”
