“We checked in after hours so our check in letter was on the counter with all the check in directions. The sliding door, at the ramp to use the cart to transport our luggage inside, was turned off. We had to call the person on call to help who had to call maintenance and they were able to trouble shoot and found that the power to the door was turned off. I think this is the only issue we had. “Everything was great, only a few things we noticed that may want to be addressed. There was no garbage can in the kitchen, there was no remote for the ceiling fan in the bedroom. No bath mat for the floor in the bathroom to prevent you from slipping while drying off after a shower. Other than that everything was wonderful!
A few guests were quite loud late last night but that’s part of being in an apartment complex”

“We had reserved one of the older rustic cabins. Upon check-in as we walked into the cabin, it had a very foul odor and we discovered mouse droppings throughout the cabin. The furniture was also very old stained and soiled. Many of the blinds were broken. We immediately called the caretaker who was very prompt to assign us a newer more modern cabin. Upon checking into that cabin, it was much cleaner, however, many things in that cabin were out of order such as one of the overhead bedroom lights...

“Many things about the property were not as promised. For example, the ice machine and washing machine did not work at all.
Communication with the host was opaque. They sent all Expedia messages as attachments. The checkout instructions were inaccurate.
I brought all issues to attention of the host but they never resolved any of them.”
