“When booking I didn't realise the hotel was right next to the ticket office to Wookey Hole Caves, what a bonus. Checking in was easy and the staff were very informative. After a busy day we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. You do have to reserve in advance but the staff went the extra mile and fitted us in, we were very thankful due to having an exhausted and hungry child. “The room smelt mouldy and damp as soon as you walked in. Beds very uncomfortable. Bath tub was disgusting, stained. Bathroom sink cracked and stained. Shower curtain mouldy and stained. Ceiling in bathroom had mould. Walls marked and needed patching. No air conditioning any where in the place. We had to open the window while sleeping as you could not breathe in the room, this was not safe in any way shape or form.There were really unruly guest making dreadful loud noise, banging and screaming...
