“Mount Irvine Beach Resort has great potential. The grounds and overall layout lend to what could be a truly exceptional resort experience. Unfortunately, the property is poorly maintained and somewhat run-down, which detracted from our stay, in addition to other disappointments. Several basic amenities were lacking. “I booked this room at 7:48am on Friday 13th, October 2017 for the same day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager states that she cancelled my booking at 7:50am because there were no rooms available. No apology. Rooms were still listed on Expedia as available. I received no official correspondence regarding this cancellation.I was told by the front desk that they can cancel it on their system but I would need to call Expedia to let them know the situation. I am currently awaiting a refund....
