“My husband and I had a great stay at Victory Villa. The room as recently renovated, comfortable, and very clean. The host who met us was very friend and informative. He communicated directly and what to expect when driving to Victory Villa. The road getting up there isn't great, but totally doable in a car whether day or night. For someone with major passenger anxiety, I didn't particularly enjoy the drive. However, it was well worth it once we reached.”

“Fantastic place. Right on water with all rooms on/facing beach which is on small cove with jacks and boast as well as direct access to glass bottom boat rides (for hire) right across bay from Little Tobago and Goat Islands. Staff are really wonderful- from front desk to bar and restaurant to housekeeping and pool as beach maintenance. Food was great and it felt comfortable and like I was at home and not a hotel. A wonderful experience for my week stay.”

Loved that they had recycle bins throughout the property and separate bins in the villas for organics and other materials. “The owner/manager of this property was very welcoming and understanding of our situation and did everything he could to facilitate us on short notice. The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. We definitely look forward to staying here again once we are in Tobago. ”

“Candles in the Wind...Thank you for a comfortable stay. Very warm host Andrew. Quiet residential area. Clean environment. Ac, hot and cold shower, TV, closet, 2 beds and table. Close proximity to beaches and places to eat. Safe environment. We paid USD 75 for one night however our host mentioned he usually has rooms way more affordable average USD35 but due to Carnival he was booked out. Highly recommend .”

“I booked this room at 7:48am on Friday 13th, October 2017 for the same day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager states that she cancelled my booking at 7:50am because there were no rooms available. No apology. Rooms were still listed on Expedia as available. I received no official correspondence regarding this cancellation.I was told by the front desk that they can cancel it on their system but I would need to call Expedia to let them know the situation. I am currently awaiting a refund....

“We’ve been staying at the Kariwak since 1993. Not much has changed. It still has a plethora of birds and tropical flowers, the staff is still amazing and the rooms are still clean. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t for you but it’s beautiful just the same. We still love everything about it 32 years later. ”
