“Ehen we arrived the property appeared abandoned. We saw mo one except someone at the front counter. We arrived around 1pm and eas told check in is at 3pm. Left and returned at around 3.30pm. Someone met us in the card carport and mentioned something about no power and we were relocated to Starfish Hotel. Which is a less expensive hotel.”

“I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort. Considering the premium price we paid, the experience was far below acceptable standards. The property is clearly not being properly maintained. There were broken balustrades around the resort, and several areas were inaccessible because sections of the ceiling had fallen out. “I booked this room at 7:48am on Friday 13th, October 2017 for the same day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager states that she cancelled my booking at 7:50am because there were no rooms available. No apology. Rooms were still listed on Expedia as available. I received no official correspondence regarding this cancellation.I was told by the front desk that they can cancel it on their system but I would need to call Expedia to let them know the situation. I am currently awaiting a refund....

“The hotel is in a great spot. The grounds and access to the beach is amazing. Food was good and staff were accommodating. The rooms are slightly dated and the room we stated in was damp bu the hotel did offer to move us. I would stay again despite this and have booked to return for later in the year. Tobago is beautiful”

“I stayed at Fish Tobago for over a week and completely enjoyed my stay. It is simple but very clean, great location to walk to the beaches or to the jetty. Brendon couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. I also really enjoyed the boat tours offered by the hotel. The guest house is in a peaceful and safe location with lots of greenery and giant mango trees. Very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend .”

“I had a great stay. The room was nice, the ceiling fan was much appreciated. With the sliding door open ac was not needed. The staff was very pleasant. Parking was no problem at all. Access to the beach was very easy and help ed to make the overall stay most enjoyable.”
