“I selected here because of close to Timberline Ski Resort during last ski season. In peak season it needs to book ahead of a month. Room was small, but super friendly staff and comfortable bed, clean room. Best one is good room rates if booking available in Canaan Valley. Recommend strongly!”

“The property and location are excellent but the mattresses and bed linens could be updated. The young lady at the front desk was excellent. Very friendly and efficient. The entry road and driveway/parking lot could be done also”

“Stayed one night on way to Outer Banks. It was ok. Very few others on property. Ate dinner at the gold club. Tournament was just over and while the food was great, it was extremely noisy!! Will not need to return to this hotel.”

“It was halfway clean. The last night there it cooled off so we were able to sleep UNTIL 3am when the smoke detector battery started beeping. The first two nights were miserable to sleep. Living room and kitchen were halfway cool but the thing they called an air conditioner was worthless in the bedroom. Couldn’t open windows because of all the partying and the big spotlight that was kept on all night. We had two portable fans only one worked. Won’t be returning to this property EVER. ”

“This was such a great place to stay! The room was super cute, updated, and felt just like home. It had everything we needed, including a stove, microwave, and kitchen essentials. The location was perfect being right in the village and close to everything, so we could walk wherever we wanted. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book here again!”

“Title: Great location and staff, but the room needs significant updating What I liked most (Pros): Clean lobby, friendly staff, convenient highway access with plenty of parking, and lots of nearby restaurants and gas stations. What I dislike (Cons): Overpriced for the quality ($135 Friday / $180 Saturday).
