“Loved our stay last week. Whenever we need to stay in Shrewsbury, We always check availability here first.
We only had a standard room, but we had everything we needed including sheets (on this site it says the sheets aren't supplied, THEY ARE) refreshments etc.
They don't do breakfast, but there was a really nice cafe across the road, the avocado bowl was amazing 😋”

“Quirky building which makes a change from modern chain hotels. Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is available and very good quality although as you have to wait for it to be cooked, it's not ideal if you are in a rush to get away in the morning.”

“Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.”

“Smallish room as expected but we'll appointed, clean and in great location. Took us roughly 15 mins wall through a park, over bridge and alongside river into town. We were lucky to have the limited on site parking space. Room was quiet, bed low but comfy. Nice stay. Have only given 3 stars for staff as we actually did not need to meet any. So, not applicable.”

“The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience. ”
