The staffing appeared to consist of only three menโtwo handled check-in/check-out, and the third seemed to manage maintenance or housekeeping. Most of the time, all three were sitting on the patio couch outside the guest entrance, chatting and laughing. That alone wouldnโt have bothered me, but it was frustrating considering the overall state of the property.
The pool was a major disappointmentโcloudy, dirty, and clearly neglected. I never once heard a pump running or saw anyone attempt to clean it, and unsurprisingly, no guests used it. This is a shame because the pool and its surrounding area have potential if properly maintained.
The roomโs air conditioning didnโt work, making the stay uncomfortable, and the amenities listed on the website were not delivered as expected. The breakfast was underwhelmingโjust cereal, bagels, oatmeal packets, and coffee. Also worth noting: none of the rooms have microwaves. Thereโs only one for guest use, and itโs oddly located in the pool area near the lobby entranceโright by where the staff hang out.
Lastly, thereโs a $100 deposit that is not mentioned anywhere on their site or booking platforms. For a 3-star hotel (being generous), thatโs excessiveโespecially considering even many 5-star hotels charge much less. Overall, a disappointing experience with a lot of missed potential.
