“We had a lovely room in the Gildhall; it was spacious and clean. We would have liked a microwave and table as the room was listed as having a kitchenette. I’m not sure whether we were advised as to the separate location and the number of stairs. The grounds were lovely and the pool and spa were wonderful. Some the exteriors of the buildings looked like they needed spray washing to remove the cobwebs and clean the windows.”

“The rooms and carpets were sooo dated. The room had a fridge and it work well the AC worked also. The room had very old furniture and old blankets. Visible dust and dust bunnies around the back of old wood furniture. Its right in the heart of the square. Worth the price I guess.”

“We have stayed here once before back in 2020 during COVID when there were plenty of restrictions (No breakfast, no pool, masks) WE loved Goderich and wanted to come back. WE chose the Comfort Suites as our best option. When we arrived this time we were informed the pool was closed - this after a trip to St. Jacob's in February where we were informed the pool was closed there, as well. Why can't these closures be posted on EXPEDIA when a person is booking??? Expedia is dropping the ball here....
