“Jewel Lake B&B is a quaint place and was perfect for our 1-night stay. The bus stop is right in front and provided cheap transportation to the airport. The breakfast options were a little limited - individually packaged boiled eggs, raw eggs which you could cook, coffee & tea options, some fruit, and granola bars. We didn't mind because it was significantly cheaper than getting a hotel in the airport area, even after taking an Uber to get breakfast at a diner. We did have to go a few miles away...

“Lovely home and room. We do not usually stay in bed and breakfast establishments. This one was excellent! Large bedroom, nice king bed, private bath with very nice shower, very nice sheets and the largest, softest towels I’ve ever used. Also included its own private deck. Simply lovely. And easy to get to restaurants, movies, hiking and cycling. We booked room 2. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“Truly the best B&B I have ever stayed at! We only stayed one night but I wish we had planned to stay longer. Not only is this place amazingly beautiful but there is an elevated cozy sitting room too with 360 degree views of the mountains, a sauna, and a game room! We had the most amazing breakfast served to us! I have to mention the cleanliness too. I have extremely high standards for what “clean” is and this place met and exceeded my expectations! 12/10 recommend. ”

“We enjoyed having the whole top floor of the home. It included a living, dining room and kitchen and bedrooms. The owner was kind and friendly. He greeted us upon arrival and stopped once more during our stay to see if we needed anything. ”

The place itself was great, really nice apartment and well stocked with all the things you need to hang out in Anchorage for a day or two, including tea and coffee which were great to have on hand! The decor was nice and the place was quiet, the beds were much more comfortable than I expected, and there was enough space for us to spread out and not trip over each other.
