โGreat stay but no one to answer the listed Emergency Phone number for use when property is not staffed. Everything was great but when trying to store luggage for a few hours at the end of the second day stay there was no one available at property nor on the posted emergency phone numberโ

โBeautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. โAbsolutely lovely little spa hotel, staff are friendly and attentive and the brought-to-room breakfast is lovely, room was clean, warm and modern with great tea and coffee facilities, nearby to lots of cute attractions and easy to access, you can even book treatments last minute at the spa, would certainly book again especially for the fair room and treatment pricing โ
โWell its owned and on the cathedral property. Wow I did not know that. It was a unique experience and close to the main streets. It was a great place to sleep next to the cathedral. It was cool to go to breakfast and see a priest or other parishioner getting ready to start a conference or some other worthy activity, not that that was the exclusive attendance of the hotel.โ
โI found the staff where extremely helpful and not being young anymore I did need help sometimes and they could not have done more. Breakfast was made easy for me as a delightful young lady member of staff was there to help each morning.โ
โWe were delighted with our stay at The Ship Inn, right from the warm welcome to someone checking whether we'd left something behind. The building has lovely windows, with light and views coming in from all angles. The food was delicious, and we were particularly pleased to have a small bottle of real milk in our room. โ
โHotel bien situรฉ, personnel accueillant, propre, la vue sur mer est genial, petit dejeuner continental pas mal du tout (large choix), on peut se garer facilement dans la rue (payant), on avait rรฉservรฉ une chambre de 5 et nous n'etions pas les uns sur les autres. Petits points negatifs quand meme: les murs sont fins (bruit de tรฉlรฉ...), literie pas top et douche pas toujours facile a regler.โ
โFrom the outside the place looked small but it was like Alice in wonderland it was huge!!!!! The men who worked there were lovely, so close to town, Yummy breakfast, and so quite was such a lovely stay.... โ
โThis hotel was a little out of the way, so youโll have to use taxis for
Transport. They were very accommodating when we arrived early and they got us all checked in. The property was well maintained and the room was a nice size. The staff were helpful and managed all us cruise passengers even though there was a lot of us. I would stay here again. Dover is a beautiful town. โ
