We were there during the Fringe, which probably explains the inflated price; but even though we made our reservation quite ahead of time, it was still difficult to find anything that could host three of us for only two nights. The photo makes the room look a lot nicer than what it really is. Both bathroom and bedroom are quite small - even by European standards - and there is an overall feeling of tired and run down. Work was being done on the outside patio/dining area which made the indoor dining area extremely cramped. Breakfast was ok; packaged supermarket baked goods or greasy hot food. It's in a quiet part of town, about 20-30 mins walk from main attractions. A number of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops are very close by. It would be a reasonable place to stay at half the price we paid, which was just a little under $300 per night, for three people, with breakfast. For reference, we stayed in an upscale two bedroom apartment in London South Kensington for about the same price (no breakfast there, though) the week before.
