The property was nice and large prefect for a family. It did get quite loud outside. The beds were super hard. No working fan so you had to leave the windows open.

Good location and spacious living/dining area but very noisy, no double glazing on the windows. The bathroom is in poor condition.

If you are planning on staying in Edinburgh there is no better place than this to be in the middle of it all! Situated on the Royal Mile in about the middle of the stretch, you are emersed in the ambiance of the area. Check in/out was super easy and the apartment is huge! We will be back!

Perfect location in the heart of the Royal Mile. Most everything within a 10 minute walk in any direction, with plenty of pubs full of locals and music in the same block. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had incredible views. The owner was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Would stay here again!

Absolutely an excellent choice. Huge clean flat, right off the main street. Highly recommend, just pay attention to your check in. We missed that we needed to knock on the door because the pickup location isn't open for business during those pickup hours. Our error, but handled graciously.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Royal Mile Mansions apt. 27. We loved the location in the heart of the Royal Mile and the apartment was spacious and well furnished. We were very comfortable. The apartment had a washing machine and a drying rack for our use which was very convenient. There were many shops, pubs and restaurants and historical sites all just out the front door. Also a short walk to Waverly Train Station.

The apartment manager was accommodating. He fixed an issue with the wall heaters and he brought up a space heater. However, the shower and tub were completely unacceptable. The water pressure was non existent. We could not take a shower as the water dribbled out of the shower head. Four ladies off of a 24 hour flight and exhausted. Could not take a shower. Very disappointing. The apartment is in a good location if you don’t mind finding a parking garage and walking for about 10 minutes. Not ideal for elderly or mobile impaired. There was an elevator but our apartment was an additional flight of steps to the door. Not something we expected and had to help our elder up the steps and carry 4 large suitcases up ourselves. (Four ladies 55+)

Never able to travel because of Covid. Flights to Scotland were cancelled. Had travel insurance and flights discontuied we refigured we'd get some money back. Rentals response was voucher for another visit. At 80 years of age we don't think we will be going to Scotland again. It was for a near friends wedding and of course everything was cancelled.

This apartment offers beautiful views and a comfortable home base for exploring the Old Town. The elevator made access much easier for my 80-year-old mother-in-law, who is traveling with us.

Location was amazing, apartment spacious and elegant Streets were very noisy at night but it’s right in the centre of the city so what do you expect, bring ear plugs!

Great location, shame about the rest

We went for location, but were a little let down by the flat - don't get me wrong, it's a huge 2 bed flat, with amazing views up and down the Royal Mile, but we struggled to find parking when we arrived... Then, we had to collect the key from a pizza shop rather than being met at the complex. We stayed on a Monday night, but the noise through the single-paned windows was so loud with partiers (until 5am) that none of us got any sleep. The flat is in need of some TLC - in the bathroom, the toilet flush is broken, all the taps are missing their tops, so you don't know if they're hot or cold, and there is a bizarre dirty shower nozzle next to the toilet. The kitchen is basic, and needs more crockery and some wine glasses. The only frying pan has bits of Tefal flaking off all over the base, so is unusable - we brought items to cook breakfast, but went without because of this. We had to wash every glass, mug and piece of cutlery before using them as they were dirty. The carpet is pretty worn as well and the wifi was intermittent at best, with an old hub - with superfast available, this is an easy upgrade that doesn't cost anything. For £125/nt I expected something a little bit more upmarket.

Superbe appart dans le centre mais bruyant la nuit

La communication pour prendre rendez-vous avec Diana pour le check-in est parfaite. Elle est sympathique et s’arrange en fonction de notre arrivée (midi) , l'enregistrement facile. Bon emplacement dans le centre-ville. bel appartement numéro 27 spacieux et confortable. proche de tout. 3ème étage avec vue sur le carrefour Royal Mile pres du chateau. Mais c’est très bruyant: les vieilles fenêtres ne sont pas insonorisées, vous entendez le bruit des voitures, les bus s’arrêtent et repartent aux feux de signalisation, les gens parlent, la musique dans les restaurants et les bars autour, etc. amélioration possible: double-triple vitrage pvc, ou en attendant, renforcer avec des joints en caoutchouc aux fenetres au moins des chambre pour la nuit

The best thing about the apartment is that it's in a great location on the Royal Mile. The living room is massive and nice furniture. The rest of the apartment is quite shabby and in need of attention. Cupboard doors don't shut properly and the bathroom needs decorated. Says it sleeps 6 but that's with 3 people in each of the 2 bedrooms. The biggest downside is that you only get one key. This caused us all sorts of issues with everyone having to go back together to swap the key around if you wanted to go out separately. The intercom didn't work either.

Good but...

Location - perfect if visiting and sightseeing all things Old Town and New. The view from this 3rd floor apartment is incredible! Windows overlooking the North Bridge view and all up and down Royal Mile. Outstanding. Very spacious apartment. 2 issues: 1) Check in process. You have to wait outside in the cold with your bags and hustle and bustle for someone to meet you to check in. This is a locked entrance apartment complex. Waited for a very long time after several phone calls, leaving messages left out. No response until we managed to get a phone number of the owner. 2) beds are hard as a rock.
