Clean, well appointed rooms, very quite, lots of free parking, lovely location on the Thames, great location for both Windsor Castle and Hampton Court and 1 hr from Central London. The included breakfast was excellent. Large dinner selections at buffet well worth the money.
First time I've stayed since it was taken over and revamped, personally, I preferred the older-style rooms. The location by the Thames is still a huge bonus. There is only one lift, which is quite small, a problem for disabled guests.
I chose to stay here as I had a flight the following morning at Heathrow. It was the ideal location, with parking and right next to the Thames, walking distance from the Magna Carta. However what I didn’t factor in was the size and number of guests. Having stayed the previous night in a small 5* hotel, I found the noise and crowds rather overwhelming
Room was huge with a large comfy king size bed. Plush dressing gowns and towels. Air con didn’t cool the room down very much and although I had a balcony couldn’t leave the door open as room was near the road. Not that you heard it with the door shut. Lovely hotel. Great location an beautiful views.
Great hotel with lovely staff, there were renovations while we were there but all was very considerate and staff on reception and in restaurant were very helpful
Yet another good stay - building works to improve the hotel we’re not too intrusive overall.
Breakfast area has been redone and is pleasant with a good breakfast
Will stay again
This was our second stay here in a the space of a few months. The upgraded rooms are really nice. This stay was by far much better than last time. The breakfast was fantastic and the spa was really nice.
