"This was our fifth time staying at this resort. The hotel is very clean. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The ladies at the coffee shop were excellent. The food was okay for all inclusive. Not great but you can find something to eat. The Mexican restaurant was pretty bad which is odd considering it is in Mexico. The snack bar and pool bars were great! The shows and dining experience has seriously declined in quality. I don’t think they have enough staff working the buffet dining area. It’s hard to get refills on drinks but it is clear the staff is working very hard. The shows are honestly pretty bad. Snorkeling off the resort is excellent. We saw a lot of cool sea creatures. I highly recommend Elite diving on site both Omar and Rueben are fantastic instructors."

"All inclusive is supposed to be a food experience, I think from the week I found a couple of good flavorful items. Everything the was terribly bland, no flavor and disappointing. We did not drink the cool aid and join their "club" and so we had to stay on the poor people side, which meant sub par food and a terrible hotel room. My family stayed in building 10 in a nice 2 bedroom suite, 1 King and 2 queen beds. The only problem is when the other rooms turned on their water it sounded like the police were about to break down our door, there was a terrible knocking that happened everytime one of the other rooms turned on their shower. When we told management, they made it sound like they had heard that compliant before and offered us another room that were "close" to each other but not connected or next door and only had a king bed in each room. So we stuck it out with the knocking and didn't sleep well. Now I hear that if you are able to book the Royal Level they don't let the poor people in that didn't join the club, and that is where all the good food is as well as the good reviews. Spend the extra money and stay at the real Xcaret with the good food and access to all the parks. $4,500 life lesson I wish I would have known a couple months ago."

"The pool was nice and clean, however the floor of it was very rough and my feet were raw after a couple days of being in it. 2nd the pool chairs were snatched up by 6:30AM. If want a pool chair you have to put something on them, claiming them, early on. The arcade was not free and was expensive. The pool table was $3 per play as well. Overall a fantastic resort."

"One of the best trips we had done in the Caribbean this trip was #10 #1 to Cozumel. Scuba diving was really good all the staff was helpful specially Victor with cleaning and helping fix a problem I had with my gear. Coaky and Pueblo were great dive masters. Food was ok at 2 of the restaurants other 2 were good just pricey for what they are we did half food on resort other half took a taxi to town. Would advise going day one to mega store and getting some extra drinks beer and snacks for room was fun just doing that adventure. Will definitely come back and recommend. "

"All staff were friendly and accommodating. The beach was beautiful... all sand and snorkeling right off the shore. It was relatively easy to get pool chairs, and the drinks were great! The Hibachi was solid, but otherwise the food was subpar (although that is pretty common when it comes to all inclusive resorts). This is a smaller resort, which makes everything easy to navigate and access. On the flip side, there aren't as many restaurants and amenities. The rooms were perfectly fine for us, but it was kind of like sleeping in a glorified tent. It was wonderful in the morning to wake to the sound of all of the wildllife, but it wasn't so great being able to hear neighbor's conversations and the evening entertainment. That isn't a deal breaker for us, but it is something to be aware of. "
