Peaceful stay

Our stay was great! We were in the area to get some sleep before hiking high peaks the next day and the room provided more than what we needed. Even tho it’s close to the road it was quiet and very peaceful. Very clean and comfortable accommodations! It was just what we needed!!

Weird way to do business. Very difficult to get ahold of management. No staff on grounds. The photos sent from Expedia indicate you are getting a room with a full kitchenette, with full fridge, oven, stove, sink. It is unlikely this is the room you will actually get, it will likely be a room with a microwave and dorm fridge. Verify this first if this matters to you, luckily for us - it did not. If you are reserving on the same day you are hoping to stay, good luck, it is very unlikely you will get in your room without some difficulty. We were lucky enough that a guest had management's direct phone number and we were able to make arrangements to get in the room. I would have been seriously annoyed if this was the middle of the night and I was tired. If you reserve in advance of your stay, it will likely work out. Outside of the weird check-in policy, the rooms are not bad, charming in a way. Even though the check-in policy is ridiculous, when we did get a chance to talk with management, she was quite nice and accommodating.

This place is basic but very clean. Non contact with owners. They send a text with the room number and code for the door.worth the value if you just want a room.

The area around was very commercial and the driveway was partially flooded. Lots of rain short period of time. Never saw Manager, all done remote

I drove 5 hrs and was very tired. When I arrived to check in , no one was there . The office to check in was empty. I called and called the motel number which no one answered and waited over 30 minutes. I did not hear back from the owner until an hour later. By that time I was almost 2 hours away from the Arsenal motel and decided to get a different motel , because I was exhausted. This is a very unprofessional way to run a business.

Check in was easy since the door was left unlocked with the key in the room. The room was large. The price was good. All downhill after that. No luggage rack. No iron or hair blower. No counter space in bathroom for toiletries. No outlet in bathroom to plug anything in. No outlets easily accessible for recharging electronics. Wi-Fi was weak and dropped out often. The outside looked like a rundown motel. The attached restaurant was closed and had a broken window covered by plywood.

La chambre a été rénovée et elle est propre, mais l'extérieur du building est médiocre. On se croirait dans un film d'horreur. La fenêtre du restaurant est cassée et il n'y a pas d'accueil. Ça ne vaut certainement pas 290$ la nuit.
