Its restoration has brought a new wave of life to downtown. The aesthetic of this theatre reflects the historical and quaint look that Elkin aims for but has performances from modern day entertainers, as seen on the theatreโ€™s billboard. It helps art and music flourish in this town and has easily become one of the biggest things to do on Friday and Saturday nights. Elkin Municipal Park Pool in Elkin, North Carolina. This pool is THE place to be in the warmer months of the year. It is where all the kids and teenagers go in their free time to swim, dive, eat, and hang out. Itโ€™s dingy appearance does not reflect the joy and fun that comes with this pool. The pool and park are the epicenter for kids because there is not much else for them to do. We like to think that having a wide variety of things to do is better but sometimes have a couple simple things can still bring great joy to those experiencing them. #appalachianechoes
