“Well maintained place even though old building. Very kind staffs and great breakfirst. Huge room with kitchennet which we like the most. Only big concern is the noise from bars in the first floow nearby. There are several bars near by and these are close at 3am. We stayed during weekend till Monday and very nisy in the night and we had to use ear plug to sleep.”

“Wonderful location and kind service! Highly recommended. ”

“We booked two nights and walked away from the second night, the cost of that second night and paid for a room at a different hotel for that second night. It was that bad! A horrible way to end our trip to Scotland. This hotel was supposed to be a 5 star splurge for us before leaving for home. “Room had everything that we needed and extremely central for the town centre”

“there was no refrigerator in the room.”

“Excellent room atop a pub in the city center. It was the most comfortable bed I slept on in over two weeks at a various hotels in Scotland. Friendly and helpful staff, and free breakfast delivered to your door if you have to depart early. I would definitely stay again.”

“Easy check-in and the staff was wonderful and funny. Great room. It was our largest room of all the ones we had in Europe! Location is ideal too. Will return.”

“Great”

“Hotel was excellent for a single night stay. Bar was very nice, but pricey. Breakfast was excellent with plenty choice and excellent menu choices were tasty. Room was adequate, with good WiFi and TV reception. Was a very dark room, but this is part of the hotel vibe, may not be to everyone’s taste”
