“Lovely traditional hotel, a few minutes walk to the seafront. Train station just across from the main car park. Beautiful gardens and the owners are so friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and the whole hotel is decorated in traditional style. Overall, great hotel, great peacful location and wonderful hosts. ”

“Liz and Paul were very friendly and took all our requests and answered them quickly. Breakfast was out of this world. Room was very clean and plenty of sockets for all your things that needed charging, it was also very spacious. Liz was always there to answer any questions and Paul was always around but not seen very much as he was probably chained to the range dealing with all the breakfasts, but very pleasant when you did see him :-). “We stayed in Heathcliff House for a couple nights in August and had a very pleasant stay. Alex and Stacey were both really welcoming and the breakfast was lovely which catered for vegetarians (a huge factor for me!). The car park was also a bonus for us, however the beach and town centre were both in walking distance and public transport very close by too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay 😊”

“I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.”
