Older motel right on US-101. Boats were tied up in berths right across the highway. It was close to restaurants. We could hear sea lions from the balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Our stay was fine. We had a few special needs that were met easily by the staff. The breakfast area was clean and there was a nice variety of food offered. The exterior was clean and the location was good for our needs.

I stayed here with my kids for a three day weekend while exploring the Redwood NP area. The location was perfect! The motel is obviously older but the condition was still very good. The bathroom could use some updating, but was still very clean. All of the staff that we interacted with were gracious and kind.

Check in went well. They even upgraded my room from a queen to a king! But then I was quite put off by the owner requesting a "tip" for checking my dog in! If you need more money, raise your rates. Don't ask for demeaning tips for simply doing your job! Guest laundry did a great job. Door keys did not work properly and required several minutes of fussing about every time we tried to use them. Owner/manager said we simply were not doing it properly, but would not come the few steps to the room to show us the "proper" procedure. In summery, fair room at a fair price, but client service could be improved.

Do not stay here-- it is awful.

Upon checking in, the manager who checked us in was rude and condescending. The building itself is old and although it has been recently renovated, it looked like it was renovated by an office worker / dad on the weekend who has never picked up a caulk gun before in his life. Fortunately, the nearby beach was nice.

Stopped here to stay during a weeklong camping trip when we got caught in a multi day rainstorm. Check in staff were helpful, but we didn’t see the staff much any other day. Even at breakfast, there weren’t many employees around. Property was fine, clean and serviceable, just found it a bit odd that the front desk was often unoccupied. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.
