We visited in the last week of August as a family vacation (4). Riad Letchina was a beautiful experience, from the service to the food and the exquisite architecture. Totally recommend the in house cooking by Fatema, absolutely delicious.
A beautiful Riad with a great view of Fes. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. They assisted in getting me transportation and answered all questions that I had.
Very kind staff that gave me all the support, informations and very cool reception with a good mint tea. The parking is on the street but easy to find place to park. Also a good location and in 10/15 minutes walk youbare on the medina. Could improove the bathroom comodities and also blankets and towels could be improoved but the values benefit is real good and fair. Nice rooftop view also
The staff is so kind and helpful! Especially Rasheed, he was very attentive. We had a lovely time at Riad Letchina. The property is beautiful and a dream for vintage lovers. Would definitely come back.
Rashid took care of serving breakfast and suppers, efficient calmly. Was watchful if anything was needed without be intrusive. Excellent cooking on site! Management was helpful in suggesting and or booking day trips or souk tours
first, the best asset are the staff. there are there for you to help you with everything, the property is located in a quiet street, in the medina 10 minutes walk from the blue gate. The rooms are in good size, but you need to use steep and narrow steps to get to the room (the staff will help you the luggage) they will arrange tours for you as well pick up from the train station and airport. The breakfast is good, but if you stay for long time, can be the same every day
We were dropped off by our driver and met by a person from the hotel who escorted us to the Riad. We were welcomed with Mint Tea and given the option to have dinner. The Riad also has the ability to book tours with the Medina of Fez with experienced guides. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is a wonderful view from the top showing just how complex the Medina is. The host was so kind and welcoming and helped my mom down the stairs to breakfast. This is an excellent place to stay in Fes, and I would highly recommend it. Thank you so much!
It was a splendid little Riad tucked away down a tiny alleyway in the old town. Difficult to find without help. We hired a man with a luggage trolley to guide us which I’d really recommend. The accommodation and breakfast were both exactly what we’d hoped expected. Egg, bread and cake - along with jams and marmalades served with plenty of coffee. Only slight niggle was that I’d inadvertently booked for one person, not a couple. When I realised this I got in touch and corrected my mistake. The manager said this wouldn’t be a problem and he’d be happy to welcome him. But when we arrived there was apparent consternation about the extra person and a demand for more money (150 DAR) to cover the extra breakfast. It would have been preferable to have been told about this in advance. But as I say - only a minor annoyance.
The staff were also good enough to arrange a taxi to take us to the train station.
Stay was great room was nice breakfast was great best breakfast in 3 stays around Morocco. the Ryad was in the Medina however a very sleepy part which took about 10 to 15 minutes to get to where the shops and restaurants were located
Very interesting. Provided a meal onarrival at 8:30 pm - very kind. enjoyed a lot.
A riad is sort of a home or bed and breakfast - not a hotel
very characterful.
felt safe.
thanks
The employees of this Riad are what it makes it so special, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and have a great time in Fez; they are truly kind, special thanks to Said for your recommendations and for taking such good care of your customers.

This is a wonderful old Riad with its beginning in the 14th century. Steep stairs lead down from the street to the main floor and others lead to the guest rooms on various levels and all the way up to the panoramic view point on the roof. We were there in the end of January 2023 while Fès suffered through an unusually cold spell. These old Riads are designed to be well ventilated in the heat of summers and although the room had a reversible split pack to heat and cool, our few days at Riad Letchina were a good reminder how spoiled we are to have a well climatized home. On the other hand, how spoiled must we be in this era of climate change?
The staff at Riad Letchina makes up for all idiosyncrasies! Truly welcoming and eager to help us plan our days in and around Fès, organizing excellent tours by car and by foot. The Riad is a small alley or two away from commerce which makes for a lovely quite experience and thanks to Fatima’ excellent cooking we enjoyed quite dinners “at home”. We could not have asked for anything else!
What an amazing experience! When we first arrived we were warmly greeted and asked about what plans we had in Fez. Mohammed helped set up our guides for our day trips, all of which were amazing. The staff genuinely cared that we had the best stay possible and would ask about our day when we got back. The place itself is beautifully decorated and each room has its own balcony to enjoy the courtyard or views of the Fes Medina. I cannot recommend this place enough!
