“Staff good”

“This was the best stay of our trip. I wish it were longer! Thank you”

“Great food, great room.”

“A one night stay on a B&B rate booked through Expedia, arriving late evening on what was a horrible weather night. Did not attend the bar but it appeared to be well stocked. Easy check-in which was open till 11pm and reception staff were very pleasant. Plenty of parking available with 2 disabled bays only.

“Very affective staff and nice hotel”

“other than no elevator i have not stayed in such well maintained place in UK this is far the best place ”

Our main complaint was the standard of the food in the restaurant. Waiting, and bar staff, looked universally miserable and service was extremely slow, even when there were few occupied tables (with the notable exception of the woman at breakfast, who was friendly and efficient). The food was of poor...

“We thought the room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable, with a nice view too. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The restaurant provided good quality food, with some interesting menu items that we enjoyed - pakora and haggis pastry with pepper sauce. We really enjoyed our stay.”
