“Rooms were very clean. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. We came in a day early for our family cruise. Our flight was moved from a 2pm arrival to a 9:30am arrival. When we arrived they gave us a room right away. At no extra charge. Breakfast the morning of our cruise was very good as well. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Tampa ”

“The staff were wonderful. Eddie was so helpful. The hotel itself was built in 1920’s. As a result the hotel has a lot of character but is in no way modern. You will have the benefit of a safe and clean place to sleep, bathe and store luggage. The location is beyond excellent and balances out the age of the hotel and sparse accommodations. “We stayed here for 5 nights with our 5 month old baby for a little R&R away from the northeast. We are so happy we chose The Don. It is an interesting and beautiful historic property right on a gorgeous beach with pools and several nice spots to eat and drink on site.
