"The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the attractions and malls. There’s also ATM inside the hotel for cash if there’s paying issue with apps. We signed up private tours with the hotel arrangements, which were great with short or no lines going to Tiananmen Square and Gugong."

"Very conveniently located, breakfast spread was very good. Friendly reception staff, and in particular, outstanding concierge team. They provided useful information on tours when I queried about them via email before my stay, and haloed to reserve a table at Make in China, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, in advance. When my teenager girl has problems with the delivery of stuff she purchased on Taobao, concierge staff was very helpful in helping to resolve the matter. But Make in China restaurant is overrated. "

"This hotel is centrally located in Beijing city, close to many attractions. The forbidden city and Wangfujing are within short walking distance. There is also a Subway station right around the corner. All staffs were friendly and helpful: front desk, Bell service, Concierge, housekeeping, fitness center, etc. I highly recommend this place. If you haven’t been to Beijing before, be aware of busy traffic around this area. Electric Bikes do not follow traffic rules. "

Beijing Tangfu Nanluoguxiang Wang Fu Jing Forbidden City Boutique Hotel

"The reason why I gave the property and facilities a four star instead of a five star is due to the fact that their 3 person room is tight. It doesn't have much space for all luggages if each person has a full size luggage. I gave the area around the property a 3 star because people were riding bikes and mopeds in the alley making it a nuisance to walk with so many tourists. Regardless of these not so positive comments, I would definitely go back to stay here. All staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Lynn. She speaks English, and made sure we were comfortable. Another staff member also very kind and perceptive. She went and got me a bottle of cold water pretty much as soon as I walked in having come back from walking around outside. They were also accommodating. They didn't have an issue with us switching rooms after we stayed one night. The room we had was simply too small for my family of three. They even showed us the bigger rooms and allowed us to choose which room we preferred. We paid a little extra for a room that is meant for four people, but it was worth it."

"Exceptional experience from start to end. Very friendly and helpful staffs, especially, 潘潘, 丽稳, 小闫 and 燕姐。Super impressed! Great location. Delicious breakfast and drinks. The whole families of 9 were able to relax and enjoy our stay! Will be our first choice in Beijing."

One night stay - very happy

"Check-in went very well. Staff was super helpful. I asked many small questions about things like currency exchange, food, delivery, etc.. and they were very very helpful. Breakfast had a good mix of food. I had forgotten about seeing showers as a closed-in space within a single room, but this was the only oddity that I found. My driver would not go down the narrow road to the hotel, but it was a short and easy walk down the narrow Road to number 46. Food options in the courtyard outside were also excellent. Had a beer and aFood options in the courtyard outside we’re also excellent. Had a beer and a burger and was very happy."
